Bedtime Routine

I LOVE sleep! I’m such a grump if I don’t get a good night’s rest … my family will attest to this (sorry to you all).  This is not something new; I’ve always been like this.  My mum quite happily recounts how she would have to wake me up as a baby so that she could take my sister to playschool!  Erm, what happened to never wake a sleeping baby?!

Saying Thank You

I know it’s an old cliché that we hear so often these days, but how often do we actually say thank you? I had been brought up to always say please and thank you, it was drummed into me so much as a child that for me this was second nature. Of course I’m talking about saying thank you when I was handed something, saying please when I asked for something, saying thanks when in a restaurant, on a train when someone was kind to me etc etc. This was to other people and about other people and everyday I excelled at this.
